Co-produce with us.
We’re looking for independent producers, community theatre groups and others to partner with us and put on their own production (and thus their own interpretation) of Song Contest Almost Eurovision. If you’re intrigued, please, read on….
We provide the core elements and a framework and you will undertake the cultural engagement with your local community. This will provide your production with content from your community including songs, cast, choirs costumes and other elements that will make your version of the show unique. Your production will be infused with the creative spirit and ideas generated by your very wonderful local community, thus giving them a voice and a show they will all be keen to see.
Our partners will also be responsible for setting the dates of their production, booking the venue(s), getting a production team in place, sorting costumes, casting, rehearsals, finding the right director, set builds, finding local sponsors, ticketing and all the many tasks that most people think are done by the fairies.
Fear not, dear fellow Producers, we will be here to support you, with a lot of practical help, including templates, ideas for the production, fund-raising, marketing strategies, publicity and we will show you how to sell more tickets than you can imagine.

WHAT DO WE SUPPLY?
A step by step road map. Effectively we will be holding your hand as you progress. We will point out pot holes to avoid and short cuts to get you there quicker and more efficiently.
The framework, online support, in-person support, the core elements including script and seven of the eleven songs that will be in the show.
WHO CAN PARTNER?
Commercial Producers: Think franchise model, our partners must undertake the community engagement.
Community Theatre Groups (aka Amateur Theatre) Think licensing model but with a LOT more support and access to help sell out more shows than ever before. Must undertake part of community engagement.
Pro-am Producers: A combination of professional and amateur performers. Must include the community engagements in order to gain full access to all resources.
In-house Venue Presenters: For venues who want to create a Christmas family favourite every year. Completely do-able.
Performing Artists Co-ops Don’t sit by the phone waiting for an audition – make your own show. Start small and grow.
Community Leaders: Get in touch and we will guide you through what you need to do.
Councils This is a brilliant way to connect with the many cultural groups in your electorate who would love to be a part of this exciting initiative
Schools What a terrific year-long project this would be. Find your budding song-writers, singers, dancers and create a blistering production that every student will be proud to be a part of. Every parent will want to attend, even the grumpy ones.
Festivals Song Contest in a major Festival as the main event. Yup, we can see that working. Comprehensive community engagement required.
