Choirs
We’ve always thought that there should be more choirs performing in Eurovision! Choirs can be inspirational, moving and powerful. Being part of a choir can be a lot of fun but, maybe not as scary as the idea of being a solo performer. (However if the choir is full of humourless psychopaths, then it might be a slightly less enjoyable experience. So choose wisely.)
Being one of many means you can blend in, like wilde-beest or a herd of zebras, or a swarm of locust. When you’re one of many, you’re less likely to stand out and be devoured. (That’s a terrible analogy but you know what we mean.) Safety in numbers.
Existing Choirs
If you are part of a choir already and if you are interested in finding out more details, please get in touch and we will be very happy to discuss how to make this work.
For New Choirs in 4 Easy Steps
STEP ONE: Find some other people in your area who can sing (or at least who believe they can sing) and who would like to create a choir.
STEP TWO: Select the choir leader. This person can take charge of rehearsals and they would be the point of contact for the producers of the show.
STEP THREE: Get in touch with us so we can send you the music for the the three pieces that you will sing during the performance of Song Contest Almost Eurovision
STEP FOUR: Find a place to rehearse and an accompanist who can play along when you are rehearsing. We will also be giving online rehearsals in the months leading up to the show. More details about this as things firm up.
